ReplyDeletePerhaps "Let's Back Up a Bit" can work as a shorter placeholder name for this new segment until a better idea comes along,
And Rob, I remember the "stamp ad" during the 1980 8-page back-up era, and that Aquaman was listed as the "back-up" for Adventure Comics (being an addition to the Plastic Man and Starman segments regularly featured at the time). I found it interesting in Adventure #475 to find the new Aquaman segment receive top-billing as the first feature in the book. It was no surprise, mind you, since Aquaman was the most "marquee" character of the three features. I just thought it was interesting that this was a case of the back up being up front.
Okay, I will stop now.

P.S. "The Flash" was indeed a wonderful show. The Trickster movie you mentioned was also released in Asia on VHS as "Flash II: Revenge of the Trickster" -- with "Flash I" being the pilot episode. Also released on VHS was "Flash 3: Deadly Nightshade" -- which featured the two Nightshade episodes. Living in Hong Kong and Malaysia in the early 1990s, these three PAL tapes comprised my entire collection of "The Flash" show until the entire series DVD was released in the mid-naughties. While some aspects of the show are now charmingly dated, the series as a whole still holds up well in my mind.
