  1. I knew I'd confused the Brit actors! Hugh Bonneville is in Paddington. End o' year scattered, I was!

  2. Wow, you guys saw a lot of movies! Rob, I particularly envy you getting to see all the Cal-Lassic films you took in. I'm always saying "We should go see that!"...and we don't. Other than the Dracula double-feature, which yes, was a bit wrong-headed of a combo.

I can't really weigh in on a lot, as I just don't get to see much beyond films that are semi-kid appropriate these days. I did enjoy Jurassic World. I guess it's because it was a last minute "it's playing down here, so why not" kind of deal. Dinosaurs were loose, they fought, and attacked people. I was good with that. Not a favorite by any means, but for me and my son, a fun distraction for an afternoon.

Here's hoping the two of you get to see even more films, and do this all again next year. Sounds like a good annual tradition!

  3. Personally, I've stopped going to the movies. I feel like I'm done. ;)

Oh crap, The Hateful Eight is playing this week? Damn. Fallen back off the wagon already.

  4. Having seen The Hateful Eight, I thought it was rather bloated and needed dialog trim, but I agree with Rob that it had some great set pieces and certainly wasn't boring despite the running time.
