I'm pretty sure I saw this film once, years ago, during the many marathon cycles of movie rentals my friends and I used to take in. It was probably too much of a downer to make it into the repeat rental rotation.

One of my favorite 70s films ever. I first saw it in French dub on TV as a kid and it freaked me out. That final scream stayed with me, and when I thought my blog would mostly be comic book reviews, my "Terrifying" rating featured Donald Sutherland (one of the few celebs from my province, might I add) pointing with mouth open.
ReplyDeleteThe film keeps surprising me each time I watch it, and again listening to you guys talk about it (Nathaniel is always very good when he talks about movies, so have him on again!), because I somehow forget all the little upsetting details in between viewing and discover them all over again.
